fighting she is so useless. she knows the most basic of self-defense and has a knife for protection, but anyone actually skilled can easily beat her when she doesn't have her luck.

Sosie is a young woman who, on the surface, is a bundle of joy. She's outgoing, cheerful, and will be the person to grab someone's hand to drag them into the fun. She seems to always be ready with a joke or banter, and enjoys to tease others–especially those who are easy to fluster.
In actuality, she is hiding the fact that she's a spoiled brat. Because of her amazing luck, Sosie is used to having everything go her way and it has built a strong sense of entitlement within her. She tends to get annoyed easily, complains often, and tends to be quick to judge others based on minimal information. She tries to choose who to out with based on what they might be able to do for her.
All of this is due to her having a complicated relationship with her people. Everyone in her village knew about her blessing and tried to get as many favors from her as possible. When she left and became rich, people still flocked to her to try to earn favors from her. This has made her very suspicious of others and slow to trust, but she doesn't want to give that impression of herself, so she still tries to be outwardly welcoming. Because of this, Sosie has no idea how to act around people she genuinely likes and tends to panic or abandon conversation when it seems like she might be getting close to people. Goodbye.

Every few decades, an infant is granted a magical in exchange for eventually bringing back something extraordinary to the fairies once they are older. Sosie was chosen for the blessing, and she was given the gift of good luck. Everything, for her entire life, would always go her way.
She leaves the village at the age of seventeen to try to make a better life outside of it. Due to her good fortune, she lives a very easy life and eventually settles in the large city of Dismouth.
